Portrait of Yayoi Ishibashi (石 橋 弥 生, 20 歳), my Japanese model during summer 1979. She has just come up topless from the bottom of the sea, with the rod that serves as her trident to dig oysters in the sand. She had warned me: "I love swimming naked, I feel much more comfortable like this. I could also take off my thong." End of a dream day where she thus plunged completely naked into the intimacy of the sea whose expanse she explores after having revealed to me alone the oranges in her breasts. She only kept her little yellow thong. Her hair is soaked.
